The failed, corrupt and illegitimate zanu pf party whose members are sadistic parasites, has for its sole preoccupation, a laser focus on looting, plundering and predation. This has led to the acute deficiency of popular will, and thus political legitimacy. Without popular will, you cannot be part of legitimate leadership. When you are a legitimate leader, popular will constraints you from plundering and predation. Zanu pf, the failed party that is responsible for the state paralysis, as is evidenced by, say, food insecurity, an ultra volatile exchange rate, is not concerned with economic growth and development, preferring the contrary, which only can be conceived by self-gain motivation that manifests as plundering, looting and predation.

The fact that zanu pf preoccupation is looting, plundering and predation translates to negligence of the welfare off the people, and subsequent deprivation of service delivery, both of which leads th popular will deprivation by the people. Because the welfare of the people is neglected, compounded by the fact that Zanu pf is insensitive and unresponsive towards the neglected welfare of the people, the people deny the parasites the right to govern, and because the parasites want to be in power so that they are in a position to plunder, loot and destroy, the parasites exploit the economic vulnerability of the people, the economic vulnerability it engineered into existence. The exploitation is buy means of vote buying.

Vote buying is a very central but futile strategy of the illegitimate, criminal and corrupt Zanu pf. This does not matter if the elections are internal for the failed Zanu pf or it is interparty elections. Vote buying in itself is an admission of un-electability of those who attempt to gain public offices through unscrupulous means such as vote buying. The very act of vote buying, an indication of severe deficiency in public will and support, and thus political legitimacy is an indication of the state that the stagnant economy of a paralyzed state, courtesy of illegitimate, unconstitutional, freeloading and opportunistic Zanu pf.

How did the economy stagnate? How did the state become paralyzed? What is the next evolution from state paralysis? According to the prophetic Fanon in Wretched of the Earth, the class that takes over after the departure of the colonizers is a class that does not produce, most importantly capital, has no faintest idea about the physics of capital. Without capital, there simply is no industry. However, this class specializes in exploitative extraction and predation which is divorced from the reality on the ground.

For a successful exploitative extraction and predation, this class needs to remain in power for the longest of time. In order to do this, the supreme law of the land needs to be mutilated, rule of law, equality before the independent and impartial courts of law, in addition to accountability and transparency have to be exiled. This effectively translates to their replacement by rule by law, a criminal, failed Zanu pf sympathetic courts of law, which are reduced to tools whose utility is aiding Zanu pf illegitimate power retention, and thus preservation of its status quo, crucial for perpetual plundering and looting.

This explains the criminal, parasitic Zanu pf futile aspirations of establishing a one party state, and the doomed to fail, never ending attempts to decimate the vibrant, innovative and resilient opposition, which recently trounced the failed Zanu pf, demolishing any rooms doubt. This has contributed to a stagnant economy and a paralyzed state. This is because indications point to the fact that the lack of political legitimacy, a result of lack of popular will, compels Zanu pf to buy votes. This simply is an attempt to supplement and remedy the popular will deficiency, all the while being evasive about structural reforms, and massive looting and plundering.

This has led to economic stagnation, and decline, because the exiling, say of accountability, transparency and rule of law, and their subsequent replacing with rule by law, exploitative extraction and predation only serves as massive sign posts that scream ‘INVESTORS KEEP OUT,’ while attracting the shadiest people out there who benefit from the country’s natural resources at the expense of the communities that are in areas where the natural resources are found. If thus you are responsible for the referenced exiles, you have no political capital which would translate to deficiency in popular will, hence the vote buying.
