It seems that the failed, corrupt and illegitimate zanu pf terrorizing of citizens is finally paying off. It seems that some of the terrorized citizens have been terrorized so much that the usual grey matter that once filled their heads has been replaced with cow dung. This is not to assault or mock them, no. Far from it. However, their way of thinking deserves mockery and some light assaulting. Thinking that is patterned along the lines that Scarfmore ought to sit down and talk with Ramaphosa is simply dangerous, and extremely responsible. It is the last thing that this country needs.

What this country needs is not some discussion on xenophobia. The state is paralyzed, and xenophobia is one symptom indicating such paralysis. What causes xenophobia is the crucial stake here. The people certainly do not need or expect this issue to be addressed by two useless egotistical people masquerading as leaders. Yes, you got that right. Ramaphosa is equally useless as Scarfmore, after all, the same Ramaphosa is in SADC, and not even once did he condemn fundamental human and property rights violations, mutilation of the supreme law of the land, or the illegitimacy of the failed zanu pf, all of which form the core of reasons that conceives xenophobia, the same way he condemns sanctions meant to deter the same human and property rights violations, and mutilations of the supreme law of the land.

Because the failed, illegitimate and corrupt party of zanu pf is made up of criminals, and parasites, their sole focus is on looting, plundering and predation. This has led to a development which has seen the people affected by the looting, plundering and predation to deprive the politically bankrupt and failed zanu pf of their crucial popular will. For the politically uninformed or initiated, popular will begets political legitimacy. Without political legitimacy, well as a leader, illegitimate, you are screwed. You simply will have a deficiency of moral authority. Let us give you an example. When god send Jonah to Nineveh, Jonah tried to evade the responsibility he had been given, his motive being the erroneous assumption that God did not have moral authority to be sending him around, and he tried to run away. Because God had legitimate authority, there were systems in place to ensure that his commands and orders were taken care of, which is entirely a different story when someone is an illegitimate leader.

Now, from Nineveh to Zimbabwe, Scarfmore, and his scrounging party are illegitimate. This is because they do not have popular will of the people, or consent if you will. They do not have the moral authority thus to enforce certain critical issues, such as hostility towards corruption, say in parastatals. This is because, without moral authority which manifests as political legitimacy, there simply will not be mechanisms or institutions to enforce and sanction behaviours, attitudes and positions that are an antithesis to development, such as plundering, predation and looting, like our whale in Nineveh.

Now that it has been established how crucial political legitimacy is, which zanu pf has a deficiency of, you can now be pointed towards the enlightenment of the mechanics of xenophobia. Xenophobia is a reaction to a misperception of Zimbabweans as parasite that suck the blood of the south African economy. For emphasis, it’s a misperception. The thinking that Scarfmore and the equally useless Ramaphosa should talk is nonsense. It neglects the causes of the exodus of Zimbabweans into South Africa, which ironically has the majority of its land in the hand of the minority.
